n The SCORPIO SPEED CONTROL BOX simply attaches to the 64 pin connector of any Moviecam Compact, SL or Superamerica. No modification to the camera is necessary.
n The SCORPIO SPEED CONTROL BOX provides a speed range of 2 to 50 fps forward and 12 to 32 fps reverse and can be preset to three-digit accuracy in 0.001 increments. There is also a phase shift button, an Arri standard Fischer 11-pin accessory connector to interface with industry standard accessories such as the Cinematography Electronics Film/Video Synchronizing Control and two Fisher 3-pin power connectors, 12V 1A.
n The SCORPIO SPEED CONTROL BOX feactures a highly visible backlit LCD display for reading Camera Speed. Four different menu screens can be selected; Variable Speed (S), Speed & Iris Compensation (SI), Speed & Zoom (SZ) and Speed & Focus (SF).
n The SCORPIO SPEED CONTROL BOX can be easily programmed to provide exposure compensation while varying camera speeds (SI). Once programmed, speeds ramps can be controlled manually (M), or ramp times can be programmed and run at the touch of a button (A). To further expand the versality of this device, Serial Channel (S) can also be selected to provide wireless camera and lens control, via the SCORPIO FOCUS digital lens control system. Also, an External Digital Zoom Focus control can be connected to the SPEED CONTROL BOX, to provide remote camera run/stop and control of a single Digital Lens Motor.
